Imperial War Museum

How to introduce a name that might be unknown to many, tell his history in a lively way, intrigue the audience and provoke their interest in him? This was the challenge that the FGreat team received for the trailer of Wyndham Lewis: Life, Art, Warexhibition at the Imperial War Museum, the largest retrospective of his work to date.

The colours of the animation were carefully selected to be strong and to reflect his radicalism without overshadowing the artworks. Text on screen was used to reinforce the voice-over and Lewis’ historic importance as Britain’s original rebel artist, founder of the country’s one and only avant-garde art movement Vorticism and creator of the manifesto journal Blast.

Another great partnership with the Imperial War Museum for one of its main exhibitions of the year.
